Team Ivanhoe 2012
For the past fourteen years Team Ivanhoe have been visiting Silver Star. Every second year we forsake the Australian summer and bring a very eager cohort on a school trip to the other side of the world. This year we have our biggest group ever with 36 adults and students from Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar and Ivanhoe Grammar School. We come from Victoria in northeast Melbourne, Australia and really look forward to our time in the Canadian snow.
The group is made up of Alpine skiers, Boarders and X Country skiers with everyone being able to take full advantage of the many kilometres of groomed and challenging slopes. The New Years Eve fireworks rival fireworks around the world, well maybe not Sydney or Melbourne, but they were certainly spectacular!!!! The Vernon Vipers, tubing park, skating rink and expert coaches all add up to a very special holiday.
